Calm Reflections

It was a very early start but well worth it. A great day spent with a very good friend and his dog, taking pictures in the sunshine what more could a man want.

Blot on the Landscape

On a recent trip to Scotland, I was amazes that you could be 1/2 hour amble from the main road and find all kinds of rubbish. This inspired me to produce this image, The plastic cup was spotted on my way to take the main image. I know this wont be to every ones taste. However why do people not care about the environment.

Age

If you were raised on meat & potatoes, your cot was covered with lead based paint, you rode a bike with no helmet on gravel roads, your parents had no child proof lids or seat belts in cars, you got a smack when you misbehaved, had 3 TV channels you had to get up to change, school always started with Assembly, shops closed on Sunday, if you drank water out of a hose and still turned out OK,

Dhanakosa

DSC_0029
Have just arrived back from a weeks retreat at Dhanakosa in Scotland. A week full of wonderment and excitement. Well those of you who know me will know how difficult it is for me to keep quiet. So you will be amazed to hear that I managed 12 hours per day of silence. And meditated for 3 hours a day.

I met 24 fantastic people and had the pleasure of learning some great photography skills. The above image was taken at 6.15 am on the first day. just a 5 min walk from the center.

It is also good to be back nothing like being in your own home. Looking forward to catching up with my friends at Oswestry Market.
